The 28-year-old Victoria's Secret Angel shared two moving black-and-white images of her breastfeeding her infant son Anacã. In the caption of the first photo, Swanepoel wrote about how many women have been shamed for breastfeeding in public, and have been even kicked out of public places for doing so. "I have been made to feel the need to cover up and somewhat shy to feed my baby in public places but strangely feel nothing for the topless editorials I've done in the name of art..?" the South African model wrote. "The world has been desensitized to the sexualization of the breast and to violence on tv...why should it be different when it comes to breastfeeding? -Breastfeeding is not sexual it's natural." Swanepoel, who welcomed Anacã with her fiance Hermann Nicoli in October, urged people to educate themselves on the "benefits breastfeeding has on mother and child" and society as a whole. After a few emojis, the ended the post with the hashtag #mothernature.
