Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Is Reportedly a Secret Superfan of The Crown

Another royal reportedly spends her nights binge-watching Netflix's hit series The Crown, but isn't as forthcoming about her enthusiasm for the show as the rest of the family.

Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, aka Prince Charles's wife is a secret superfan of the television program, which depicts the life of Queen Elizabeth II — the royal's mother-in-law.

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Camilla's nephew Ben Elliot told the publication that his aunt and Charles watch The Crown together at their Scottish estate, Birkhall.

Elliot revealed that Camilla privately confessed to him that she enjoys the series, however, she isn't "looking forward to the bits to come."

While there's not a confirmed release date for season 3, Camilla knows it won't be long until her character is introduced, as the show will begin to cover the royals from 1964 to the early '70s.

Before their scandalous affair and subsequent marriage decades later, Camilla and Charles first met at a polo match at Windsor Great Park in 1970. An immediate chemistry was apparent, but Charles left their romance behind to serve for the Royal Navy. Upon his return, Camilla was engaged to someone else.

But we all know, they eventually pick their relationship back up...

Camilla will be played by actress Emerald Fennel, who has mixed emotions about her casting. "I'm absolutely over the moon and completely terrified," she says, according a tweet from the show's account.

"To be joining so many hugely talented people on The Crown. I absolutely love Camilla, and am very grateful that my teenage years have well prepared me for playing a chain-smoking serial snogger with a pudding bowl hair cut."
