Binuya/Everett Collection As if Cameron Diaz doesn't already have enough on her plate—she recently released the healthy-living guide The Body Book, her film The Other Woman is due in April, and she is the brand ambassador for Tag Heuer—she is now adding one more thing to her growing résumé: artistic director of the accessories brand Pour La Victoire. While news of her role was announced last year, Diaz has just revealed her first designs for the New York-based company with its fall 2014 collection. The experience has been a study in fashion for Diaz, who is learning everything from industry lingo to what types of shoes can realistically be produced -- and she is quite serious about the job. Seriously sexy with a down-to-earth edge, the collection is much like the actress herself. Filled with more refined and pared down styles than the label's past lines, the first collection to bear Diaz's stamp includes clean sandals and chic booties—shoes that can work from day to night. The footwear is feminine-chic with a bold twist, crafted with details the brand hasn't tried before, like new heel heights and detailed cutouts. Pour La Victoire's partnership with Diaz will last for at least two years, where the actress will advise on everything from designs to advertising campaigns, though she won't appear in the latter and her name won't be attached to the collections. Her position will remain behind-the-scenes, as Diaz wants the shoes to speak for themselves.
