Fresh off the news that I Am Cait has been renewed for a second season, Caitlyn Jenner appeared on the premiere episode of Logo’s all-new web series Beautiful As I Want To Be.

Hosted by transgender supermodel and executive producer Geena Rocero, the series shines a light on transgender youth, offering up a platform to share their stories and struggles with the world.

The debut episode follows a young trans artist named Zeam as he paints a picture of what authentic beauty means to him. Jenner – who takes on the role of mentor for a photo shoot – opens up about her personal experiences, and encourages Zeam to surround himself with positive, supportive people.

“You were born a person to be who you are, you know? And everybody’s different and that’s a good thing. I never got to meet another trans person until two months ago. I couldn’t. I have family, I have ten children. I had that image of who I was,” Jenner said. “But I’ve learned so much and I think that’s one of the most important things is educating yourself on this issue.”
