Here's How You Can Buy Pippa Middleton's Bridesmaid's Dress at a Major Discount
The time has finally come. Five years after fashionistas swooned over Pippa Middleton's bridesmaid's dress during her sister Kate Middleton's 2011 wedding to Prince William, there's officially a way to add it to their clothing collections at a major discount.
The ivory Alexander McQueen Large Double Lapel Gown is available via Forward by Elyse Walker, and while it generally retails at $2,565, it's now up for grabs at 40-percent off at $1,539—a splurge-worthy choice for upscale summer affairs. Of course, as you'll notice in the details, the sleek dress isn't exactly like the one the fashion house's designer, Sarah Burton, created for Pippa back then. The cap sleeves, lace trim and cowl neck are all gone (with a double lapel in its place) and the buttons down the back of Pippa's dress are also missing.
Still, the fitted bodice of the dress that showed off Pippa's toned physique is on this version as well, and it's tough to go wrong with McQueen for any occasion. While you might want to stay away from wearing this stunner to a friend's wedding (Pippa stole the show just a bit when she wore the off-white number on her sister's big day), there are sure to be plenty of other fabulous summer fêtes where you can rock this dress and feel like royalty.
