The actress had a bit of a scary situation on her hands yesterday while celebrating the Fourth of July with friends. Philipps's youngest daughter, Cricket, hopped on inflatable surf board and began floating to the edge of her friend's infinity pool. When her daughter began to yell for help, she did what any parent would do—she kicked off her shoes and jumped in with all of her clothes on to get her daughter away from the potential 10-foot drop. "Just had to jump into my friends pool with my clothes on cause Cricket was on a pool float that was about to go over the edge of the infinity pool and there was no one to help her in the pool and that's just what you do, I guess," she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her in the pool with her clothes on. "She's fine. So am I. But I'm pretty soaking wet. So there's that. HAPPY 4TH." While she said that it wasn't an all out danger situation because Cricket knows how to swim, her daughter panicked. "We were all sitting there and were like, ‘Am I doing this? I guess I gotta do this,’” Philipps said. “I just took my shoes off, put my phone down and just jumped into the pool and got her.” Michelle Williams Calls BFF Busy Philipps the Love of Her Life Regardless, it was definitely a scary situation.
