Hold onto your wigs: the queens came to Queens, and they did not come to play.
On Sept. 8 and 9, the annual Bushwig Festival, a celebration of "drag, music, and love" gifted the world with its presence, and the attendees left no contouring palette unopened. Bushwig claims to be the largest drag and queer music festival in the world, and the artistry of the event — particularly in terms of hair, makeup, and fashion — is truly something to behold.
Photographer Chris Sorensen attended, and the following portraits serve more than you might be able to handle.
