Brooklyn Beckham is taking a leaf out of dad David Beckham's book and switching out his brunette strands for a significantly lighter hue. The 17-year-old took the leap to the lighter side and took to Instagram on Tuesday to debut his brand-new color, and his sultry shot is giving us major Becks throwbacks.

The photo shows him staring into the camera wearing a gray Adidas hoodie with his newly lightened locks parted to the side over his face. "Thanks @alexis.vk," the model wrote in the caption, giving a shoutout to his hairstylist Alexis Von K. at Ken Paves Salon in West Hollywood, Calif.

Thanks @alexis.vk 🙏🏼

The pout might be all Victoria (who also has a history of lightened locks), but the trendy bleached hairstyle definitely brings us back to former pro soccer player David's days of experimenting with bleached faux hawks, cornrows, and shoulder-length hair.

We couldn't help but notice that the Beckhams' oldest son now more closely matches girlfriend Chloë Grace Moretz in the hair department (she sports a sandy-toned shade).
