Congratulations are in order for Brody Jenner and his bride!
This weekend, Jenner and his longtime girlfriend, Kaitlynn Carter, wed on the island of Nihi Sumba, off the coast of Indonesia during an intimate ocean-front ceremony. While the setting was idyllic, the guest list of 50 close friends and family was missing a few familiar faces.
Notably, Jenner's half-siblings Kendall and Kylie, as well as his father, Caitlyn, were not in attendance. Also, not so surprising, none of the Kardashians made the trip to the tropical destination.
It was previously reported that Brody's little sisters never RSVP'd to his wedding. “My two little sisters, we never even heard from them. They never even RSVP’d I don’t think,” he told People earlier this week. “We sent them an invite but we just never heard anything back.”
While Kendall and Kylie left Brody in the dark about their plans, Caitlyn let her son know ahead of time that she wouldn't be able to make it to his upcoming nuptials due to a work conflict. "Caitlyn has work commitments that have been set up for months and couldn’t be changed in the end,” a source told People.
“She will be throwing a big party for them when the newlyweds return to town,” the insider added.
Ok, so who was there? Brody's mother, Linda Thompson, and brother Brandon watched as the couple said their "I do's."
Jenner and Carter met at a party in 2013 and were engaged three years later when the former reality star popped the question at the resort where they wed.
“He was really honest about what he wanted, no messing around, and I found that really charming and refreshing," said Carter. "Pretty soon after we started dating, I thought it could be for life.”
