Game of Thrones’s Emilia Clarke is headed to Broadway! The actress has been tapped to star as Holly Golightly in Truman Capote's Breakfast at Tiffany's, a role unforgettably portrayed by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 film. Playwright Richard Greenberg adapted the story for the stage, and said in a press release that he aims to “return to the original setting of the novella, which is the New York of the Second World War, as well as to resume its tone—still stylish and romantic, yes, but rougher-edged and more candid than people generally remember.” We look forward to seeing Daenerys don the iconic Tiffany's tiara and necklace when the production opens on Broadway in February 2013.
