The one and only Brad Pitt is celebrating his birthday today! The actor has managed to make the world collectively swoon for 52 years and counting. We're honoring Pitt's big day by looking back at some of his cutest couple moments with wife Angelina Jolie.

The couple—who were together for nine years before tying the knot in 2014—sure know how to serve up the #RelationshipGoal envy. While they have what it takes to remain a golden couple in Hollywood—have you seen these two on the red carpet?—the duo have endured a lot of trials in their personal lives in the years leading up to their marriage.

Back in 2013, Jolie underwent a voluntary and preventative double mastectomy after testing positive for the BRCA1 gene mutation, which heightened her chances of developing breast cancer. Then earlier this year, the actress decided to remove her ovaries after her doctor discovered Jolie showed early signs of cancer.

"Seeing my wife have to be her strongest and knowing that it's the scariest news is terribly moving," Pitt said of Jolie's cancer scare during the couple's joint Today show interview last month.

Jolie's tough decision was in part inspired by losing her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, to ovarian cancer back in 2007 and for the sake of her family and Brad. The couple are parents to Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9 and twins Knox and Vivienne, 7.

"There was no vanity to my wife's approach," Brad added. "It was mature. 'This is our life and we're gonna make the best of it.' There was a strength in that. It was just another one of those things in life that makes you tighter, and she was doing it for the kids, and she was doing it for her family so we could be together."
