For Brad Goreski, it makes sense that he has up to 40 pairs of frames. "I like to have glasses for day and night. There’s a major rotation happening, it’s like the Clueless closet!" he told The stylist to the stars—from Jessica Alba, Rashida Jones to Fruitvale Station's Melonie Diaz—has long been admired for his chic taste and those signature black, thick-framed glasses, so it was no surprise that Goreski partnered with eyewear retailer to curate a selection of his top picks for both women's and men's styles. "I tried to choose glasses that would work well at the office and then also at a party," he said. But with every accessory, you have to work it into your look -- and that's where Goreski steps in again. "I usually start with the whole overall look, but it really depends on what kind of statement you want to make." Whether you're going for a Sophia Loren bombshell look, a sexy secretary or vampy vixen, Goreski says, "you need to make a story for yourself; playing dress-up applies to glasses as well." 1. Update your Wardrobe with Accessories "Buy really good wardrobe staples that fit you well and update them with new frames or a good pair of shoes. It's all about your finishing touches."

2. Play with Textures and Brights "Playing with textures is really nice and always lots of color, especially in the winter when it starts to get a little more dreary."

3. Edit Your Summer Wardrobe Now  "It’s really important to begin with an edit while it’s in your mind of what you wore for spring and summer and what you didn’t really wear. Start pulling out those things that you don’t think are gonna make the cut and then store, as opposed to storing everything and doing an edit next year because you’re never going to get rid of anything."

4. Key Pieces You Need for Fall "Sweatshirts are such a big thing, a bomber jacket is the perfect layering piece and I’m loving fit-and-flare skirts. Those are my absolute favorite, I think it looks so chic with a very slim sweater a statement necklace."
