A Bold Lip and a Splash of Sparkle Ruled at the Delete Blood Cancer Gala Last Night

You didn’t have to search for the take away message at last night’s Delete Blood Cancer DKMS Gala in New York City. As guests poured into the Cipriani Wall Street venue, an enormous neon-lit sign with the phrase "Dream Big, Do Good" spelled it out. And that's exactly what the organization has done. In the 10 years since its inception, DKMS has fostered more than 41,000 life-saving bone marrow transplants and have registered 4.2 million potential donors.

"We're here to celebrate," said the Vivienne Westwood-clad popstress, Jessie J (above, right), who debuted the song "Sweet Talker" from her upcoming album for the audience. "It's so fun to get dressed up for events like this, I even did my own makeup," she told InStyle of her bold MAC Ruby Woo lip color. The ultimate splash of sparkle came from the Van Cleef & Arpels diamonds that burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese (above, left) draped above her Zac Posen gown. "I don't have my own glam squad, so I spent about 1.5 hours getting ready for this evening. Who doesn't like to sparkle?" she said.

While guests including models Coco Rocha (above, second from left), Elettra Wiedemann, Georgia May Jagger (above, second from right), and designer Rachel Roy dined at candle-lit tables covered in deep red roses, host Chris Tucker danced his way onto the stage with Pharrell's "Happy" booming in the background. "They've done such incredible things in the span of a decade," said Rocha, who showed off her newly bobbed-hair and bold Chicago-inspired makeup. "I can't wait to see what's to come."
