If you’re Blake Lively, it’s what dreams are made of. As part of People and Entertainment Weekly editorial director Jess Cagle’s series, The Jess Cagle Interview, the 28-year-old street-style favorite opened up about her love of fashion, and what fuels her desire to slay one look after the next. “It’s fun to dress up in a big sparkly number and a Cinderella-looking dress,” she said. "I came home to my [18-month-old daughter James] and she was like, ‘Wow.’ You know, because you just look like a Disney movie.” James may enjoy mom’s larger-than-life gowns, but don’t think Lively only does it for her daughter. “It’s fun to get to do that. Because when you’re a little girl you play dress-up, and now I get to do it in big-girl life too,” she added. “There are lots of variables these days, but [it’s] fun to dress [under] the circumstances.” Lively, who famously steps in front of the cameras without consulting a stylist, thinks doing so is no big deal. “Everybody in the world does all their own styling. They wake up in the morning and put their own clothes on themselves. It’s not that different,” she quipped. Well, Blake, you’re definitely doing something we all aren’t.
