The phrase "no shirt, no shoes, no service," might be something you'd overhear in a beach eatery, but Blake Lively has her own version for red carpets: No pants, no problem

The actress stepped out on the red carpet at the Lionsgate presentation at CinemaCon Thursday night in an eyebrow-raising ensemble that completely left pants by the wayside. Lively wore a crisp navy blue blazer Sonia Rykiel minidress that had all the formality of a tuxedo suit and all the impact of a super short mini. It almost looked like she was wearing a giant blazer, graphic Christian Louboutin pumps, and nothing else at all.

Even sans pants though, it was no less formal of a look—after all, she did pair it with a colorful Brackish bow tie.

Lively wore the look to join Anna Kendrick and director Paul Feig to discuss their upcoming thriller A Simple Favor, which is set to hit theaters on Sept. 14.

It's not the only movie news surrounding Lively right now, either.

With news breaking earlier on Friday that the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants has a third movie in the works, it seems like the timing couldn't be more perfect—maybe Lively could use another pair of pants in her closet.
