Beyoncé gave you just another reason to proudly call yourself a member of the Beyhive after she gifted a Houston teen battling cancer the surprise of a lifetime.
Alief Hastings High School student Ebony Banks, whose nickname is "Ebob," has been fighting a rare form of Stage 4 cancer for most of her senior year, according to a local news station. And to celebrate an early graduation at the Houston hospital where she is staying, friends and fellow students from her school teamed up to make one of Ebony's dreams come true. How? They bestowed the ultimate grad gift upon the major Beyoncé fan.
Using the hashtag #EBOBMEETSBEYONCE, Ebony's classmates and family tried to catch Queen Bey's attention on social media, and the Lemonade hitmaker was quick to respond.
On Wednesday morning, Beyoncé made the teen's wish come true with a FaceTime call.
In a heartwarming video clip from the conversation shared to fan accounts on social media, the pregnant star can be heard telling Banks, "I love you," after she revealed to the "Crazy in Love" singer that she loves her dance moves. Watch Ebony Banks meet her idol here:
