Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj Dazzle Brooklyn with First Live Performance of "Feeling Myself"
Last night's Tidal X 10/20 concert at Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., boasted an all-star lineup of musicians (like Jay Z and Usher), but it was Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj's estrogen-charged rendition of "Feeling Myself" that stole the show. This marked the fabulous duo's first live joint performance of the single since it dropped in May.
Minaj, dressed in a revealing black jumpsuit, kicked off the song solo accompanied by some seriously sultry choreography from her and her squad of female backup dancers (also dressed in black).
About a minute into Minaj's opening rhymes, Beyoncé's team of dancers, dressed in similarly revealing pink jumpsuits, joined the stage. And even with the performers' backs to the crowd, the audience quickly recognized Queen Bey's bootylicious silhouette among them and immediately went wild.
The performance continued with Beyoncé, backed by her dancers in pink, and Minaj, with her ladies in black, having a showdown of sorts which concludes in an epic dance battle full of posing and hair whipping led by the singers.
Eventually Beyoncé and Minaj are left alone on stage, and all we can say is: legs for days. Then, just when it looks like they're about to square up for a fight, they smile and hug.
And the awesomeness is too much to bear.
