Beyoncé is the queen of keeping her a tight lid on her mega-successful projects but, thankfully, the 34-year-old star is breaking the silence on one thing: her tour costumes.

On Monday, she took to Facebook to share a minutes-long video that reveals just how much work went creating all her Formation Tour costumes from conception to stage. While designers like Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, and Dsquared2 were tasked with creating custom, couture-like outfits for the diva and her backup dancers, you might be surprised to learn how many other individuals were involved in the process.

Formation costume designer Marni Senofonte opens up about the theme and overall mood of the show in the clip and explains that the Southern twist across each look comes from those seen in her HBO Lemonade special. “Beyoncé and I went through them and decided what we liked, what we didn’t like, what we can change, and then sent it back to [the designers] and they re-sketched and then we decided which pieces we wanted made,” says Senofonte of the exchange between Bey’s team and the brands.

And if you’re wondering where, exactly, those epic wide-brim hats she rocks on stage come from, let’s just say finding one won’t be as easy as hitting “add to cart.”
