Forget about the commercials, Beyoncé just delivered the best announcement of the Super Bowl: She’s going on a world tour in 2016. After dropping a surprise single, “Formation,” yesterday, she took to the field to perform it live in all of its girl-power glory.

The star looked hot in a DSquared2 black leather jacket with gold military details. Not to be upstaged, Bruno Mars brought it with his "Uptown Funk." A dead ringer for a young Michael Jackson, Mars showed off his killer dance moves in a black leather suit with his guy-squad in tow.

And of course there was Coldplay, who opened the show with fuzzy renditions of “Yellow” and “Paradise,” joined by an army of instrument-playing kids. (Simultaneously jumping and playing violin? That’s a feat of athleticism in itself).

Beyoncé and Mars joined the band for a rendition of “The Scientist” to reflect on halftimes past with footage of legends like Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and Jackson himself.

The epic performance ended with fans holding signs that spelled out “Believe in love.” If there’s one thing we believe in, it’s the power of Beyoncé.
