Beyoncé and Blue Ivy’s Mommy-and-Me Denim Jackets Prove Spring Has Sprung
Forget for one minute the custom Roberto Cavalli and Balmain bodysuits that visually make up Beyoncé’s Formation World Tour and feast your eyes on this: On Thursday morning the Lemonade singer shared a video of herself and 4-year-old daughter Blue Ivy rocking one of spring’s most important transitional pieces: the denim jacket.
While Beyoncé looks fierce in her light-wash topper, body-hugging jeans, and an off-white tucked-in floral shirt, we can't take our eyes off of little Blue's identical mini-me version.
In the below video, several images of the dynamic duo pan across the screen as the two deliver their best camera-ready poses and together showcase their love for the butterfly and heart-covered embroidery seen on the jacket.
Although Beyoncé did not confirm their maker, signs point to the presumably custom jackets being Gucci creations. The pieces bear a striking resemblance to a similar design Gucci campaign star Jared Leto wore while with the brand's creative director, Alessandro Michele:
Gucci, Beyoncé, and, of course, Blue Ivy, just keep on winning.
