Star-Studded: The Best Parties This Week
Let's address the elephant in the room: the biggest part of the week was hands-down the Met Gala, where Rihanna arrived looking like a pope, and to the surprise of everyone, 2Chainz decided to propose to his ... wife. After hours, the fun continued at a string of parties hosted by Balmain, Rihanna, and Donatella Versace, the reason for this Kim Kardashian bondage moment.

Red carpets aside, celebrities continued making appearances at smaller, more intimate gatherings. Selma Blair caught up with one half of The Row, Ashley Olsen, at the COS-hosted Dia: Beacon Spring Benefit, where they each celebrated the Dia Art Foundation's new installations by Mary Corse and Dorothea Rockburne. Olsen, if you didn't know, is a big art nerd.
Later, Blake Lively hosted Baby2Baby's fifth annual Mother's Day celebration in a pretty pink dress, while Selena Gomez, Sarah Paulson, Claire Danes, and Tracee Ellis Ross all sat front row at Prada's resort 2019 fashion show.
