Taylor Swift’s squad may have been down a few members at the iHeartRadio Music Awards Sunday, but her man, Calvin Harris, as well as BFFs Serayah and Selena Gomez, were all on hand to cheer the songstress on as she took home the most awards of the night (including Album of the Year for 1989).

While Swift quickly made her way into the show in a black sequined jumpsuit, we caught up with Serayah on the red carpet, who dished to InStyle about the best advice the “Blank Space” crooner ever gave her. “Just to stand strong in what I want and how I think I should be portrayed, because it is me at the end of the day,” Serayah said. Swift’s advice aside, the Empire star slayed at the event, opting for a beaded, “fun,” and “J.Lo inspired” Nicolas Jebran mini dress that made us swoon.

As the show kicked off, the BFF love fest continued, with Serayah, Gomez, Swift, and Harris all sitting at the same table. When the Female Artist of the Year nominees were announced, Swift and Gomez, who were both nominated, gave each other a high five and then hugged when Swift won.

Harris also clapped for his ladylove and embraced her as she picked up her awards, and Swift did the same when Harris took home Dance Artist of the Year, giving him a big hug, standing and cheering as he headed towards the stage.

While Swifties went wild as the “Bad Blood” singer nabbed each honor, the screams became deafening as a shaved-headed Zayn Malik performed “Like I Would” surrounded by lasers. Justin Bieber, who rocked dreads and a Wayne Gretzky jersey at the show, also made fans lose their minds when he performed “Love Yourself” and “Company” ahead of his Male Artist of the Year Award win.

Although Big Sean and Jhene Aiko, who were also in attendance, didn’t take home awards, they had a lot to celebrate regardless with the recent release of their Twenty88 collaborative album. Both told InStyle their chemistry led them to do a project together, with Aiko, who nailed it in a printed Mara Hoffman jumper, adding, “We bring out a healthy competition with each other, so we always bring our best work forward with each other.”

As the awards show came to a close, Iggy Azalea put break-up rumors to rest when she hit the stage wearing her huge engagement ring and performed “Team,” which appeared to be the theme of the night.
