Cumberbatch received the honor from Queen Elizabeth II herself on Tuesday morning at Buckingham Palace, and it's safe to say it's a moniker well-deserved. The Sherlock star, who was nominated for an Oscar for his role in The Immitation Game earlier this year, received the honor for his acting and charity work. Cumberbatch looked dapper as always for the ceremony in a tailcoat and was joined for photos by his wife, Sophie Hunter, who looked like the picture of English perfection in a lavender dress with black trim which she paired with an elaborate black hat. Looks like 2015 is the year of Benedict.
