Are exes Bella Hadid and The Weeknd back together? Judging by reports from inside Coachella's BMW and Kylie Cosmetics after-party, it sounds like there's some hope of reconciliation.
The singer fueled rumors that he and the model had unfinished business with the recent launch of his latest album, My Dear Melancholy. In a song titled “Wasted Times,” the 28-year-old appears to reference lingering feelings for his “equestrian” ex, going as far as to call another relationship (presumably that of him and ex Selena Gomez) “wasted times I spent with someone else.”
Bella and The Weeknd (née Abel Tesfaye) dated on-and-off for 18 months until November 2016. In January 2017, Abel was spotted kissing Gomez, with whom he spent the next 10 months with, their relationship meeting its ultimate end this past October.
The Weeknd kicked off the first weekend of Coachella on Friday with an emotional set, visibly crying on stage while he sang “Call Out My Name” and “Privilege,” both of which are assumed to have been inspired by Gomez.
But emotional performance aside, The Weeknd seemed to end his weekend on a happy note. Onlookers told People that he and Hadid, 21, were “sitting on each other’s laps and all over each other all night long,” adding, “They definitely looked like they were fully back together.”
Multiple sources confirmed to E! News that the duo locked lips throughout the event, one of whom revealed that, “They spent the whole night together and left together. They were definitely super affectionate, cuddling each other while hanging out with their friends."
Coachella drama is the best drama—HANDS DOWN. Stay tuned for weekend two!
