The upcoming fall collection includes the company's signature work-friendly basics, like tailored trousers and soft knits, as well as some new pieces like a gray leather jacket and pops of vibrant colors on purses and accessories. “The colors for fall were inspired by New England, where I have a house,” Simon Kneen, creative director of Banana Republic, told InStyle. “Don’t be afraid to mix colors—pair a bright yellow bag with a red belt.” But Kneen was careful not to let color overpower the traditional BR look. “The look is clean and simple,” he explained of the overall collection.
