After a season of unimaginable heartbreak at the hands of one Arie Luyendyk Jr., Becca Kufrin is finally back on TV on Monday night to look for love and, yes, do the damn thing.

And this time, it’s clear that the Bachelorette isn’t messing around when it comes to finding her happily ever after. Exhibit A? Her stunning premiere night gown.

The white halter-style look in which she chose to meet her 28 suitors is actually from a recent bridal collection of N.Y.C.-based designer Randi Rahm. That’s right, Becca wore a wedding dress on the night that she—spoiler alert!—met her husband. (Yup, she's engaged.)

The custom couture gown is encrusted with hundreds of ivory luster pearls and also accented with Swarovski crystals. The price tag for all of that sparkle? A whopping $22,000.

Becca tried on a lot of dresses before she landed on the right one. “I was lucky enough to work with stylist [Cary Fetman] throughout the entire season, and thank god for him, because I’m usually just in yoga pants all the time,” she told InStyle earlier this week, laughing. “And as much as I wanted to wear yoga pants, I didn’t think it would fly. So I tried on a ton of gowns for night one. I wanted something that would give me an air of confidence and this dress did that.”

Though the end result was definitely memorable, Becca said that there’s always a slight price to pay for fashion. “It’s fun to step outside your comfort zone to wear a beautiful, beaded gown, but that dress wasn’t the most comfortable because it was so heavy,” she says. “Oh my God, it had to be at least 30 pounds! And then, it was a little bit rainy that night, so the bottom of it kept soaking up water and making it even heavier.”

Her shoes only made the situation worse. “In my normal life, I’m a flats girl, but on the show I pretty much only wore heels,” she says. “I’m very clumsy, so I learned to walk very slowly wearing heels every day. My feet hate me now.”

As for the designer, Rahm is becoming the go-to for the show; former Bachelorettes JoJo Fletcher and Rachel Lindsay also chose their first night gowns from her collection. Last season, Lindsay also wore a white halter gown that was very similar in feeling to Becca’s look this year (below).

Becca says her 28 suitors clean up pretty well too. “They were all so dang handsome,” she recalls. “I don’t know what it is about bow ties, but I love a good bow tie on a man. A few of the guys wore them, so that stood out to me.”

Fashion aside, the hardest part of the night for Becca required a lot more concentration. “On the first night, I kept joking and asking for name tags for the guys because I was like, ‘How am I supposed to remember all these names?’” she says, laughing. “Luckily, I have a great team behind me that would help. And all the guys were patient—they understood that they were one of 28 people and would keep reminding me of their names. They were all just as nervous as I was, so I was happy that we all went through it together.”
