Bachelor Nation, prepare yourselves: The Bachelor returns for Season 21 on Jan. 2, 2017 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, according to the network.

Nick Viall may have been a controversial choice when it came to who was going to be The Bachelor this year, after rumors that Luke Pell had been passed over for the gig in a last-minute move by those ever-sneaky producers had some fans pretty outraged. But it's time to get on board the Nick train because The Bachelor, Season 21 will be here soon.

"I’m hopeful I'll find someone to spend the rest of my life with," Viall previously revealed to People. "I couldn’t be more excited to find that amazing connection." This is Viall's fourth time on a Bachelor-related series, competing for Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe's hearts on Seasons 10 and 11 on The Bachelorette, and appearing on the second and third seasons of Bachelor In Paradise.
