While we were speculating about the future of bachelor Pete Weber and his former Bachelorette flame Hannah Brown, something hilarious was afoot in current contestant (and early frontrunner) Madison Prewett’s Instagram comments. Prewett, who secured the first one-on-one date of the season and met Weber’s entire family (ON THE FIRST DATE), shared a series of screenshots from said “perfect” evening on Instagram, writing, “Woke up feeling super grateful.. the most perfect date with the perfect guy ❤.” Prewett commented on her own post, “Beautiful date Madi. You are so genuine and real.” The evidence was wiped soon after, but Bachelor Nation’s unofficial detective squad, BachSleuthers, scored a screenshot. Instagram/BachSleuthers Fans quickly assumed that the comment was possibly meant to come from a fake fan account Prewett had set up for herself. The southern Bachelor belle covered her tracks quickly, however, with a friend commenting, “Oops Thought I wrote that comment about being real & genuine from my account but was logged into Madi’s from when she got back from filming. Don’t hate me @madiprew." Instagram/madiprew Still, fans weren’t convinced. Instagram/madiprew Instagram/madiprew The Bachelor Is Way Too Obsessed With Parents’ Marriages _a_i_d_334 got some serious friend points though. Instagram/madiprew Honestly, the hustle is real. And while it's entirely possible this was a mistake by her friend, sometimes you’ve got to create your own fans in this life. Madi Prewett should be an inspiration to us all.
