Ariana Grande Covered Up Another Tattoo from Her Relationship with Pete Davidson
It looks like Ariana Grande is breaking free of anything and everything that reminds her of ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson – including her tattoos.
The 25-year-old pop star, who split with the 24-year-old comedian earlier this month, shared a video on her Instagram story which revealed that she has covered up her half of the couple’s matching “reborn” tattoos. The clip shows Grande clinking glasses with her friends and we can’t help but notice that the phrase on her left hand appears to have been replaced with a fern leaf.
The “God Is A Woman” singer captioned the video, “I have no words to describe how much I love and am eternally grateful for these human beings who constantly help me turn lemons into lemonade and literally heal me and put me back together." In addition to ending her engagement to Davidson, Grande has also been dealing with the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who was found dead of an apparent drug overdose in September.
The pop singer, who already has an extensive collection of tiny tats, racked up a seriously impressive number of tattoos throughout her very public relationship with Davidson (he also got a few Ariana-inspired tattoos of his own). Now that their relationship is over, it makes total sense that the she would want to cover up any reminders of her ex.
Grande previously covered up the “pete” tattoo on her ring finger with a band-aid for her “A Very Wicked Halloween” performance a few weeks ago. Even Davidson joked about having to cover his own tattoos from their relationship, including the Dangerous Woman-era bunny ears on his neck — so it really looks like this relationship is done for good.
Maybe the next time around Ariana will rethink a couple’s tattoo.
