Ariana Grande's signature high ponytail is a celebrity in its own right. Even though she's become known for the slicked-back, sky-high style, the singer hasn't been afraid to experiment with her look by switching things up every now and then.
Grande's accessorized her updo with hair rings, braids, and bangs, changed her hair color to platinum blonde, and even debuted a low ponytail in the teaser photos for her newest single "No Tears Left to Cry," but she's always gone back to the classic high pony.
Given all of the changes that the singer has gone through in the last year including the end of her relationship with Mac Miller, her openness about dealing with anxiety, and her upcoming album Sweetener, she was asked in her cover story for The Fader whether she would ever permanently ditch her trademark style.
"The pony has also gone through an evolution, and I'm proud of that," she told The Fader. "Old pony? I don't know if she's that girl. But new pony? I like her. I mean, it's like a Victoria's Secret angel without angel wings. It's still her without them, but when she's with them it's like, 'Ohh, I get it, she's an angel.'"

There you have it: Expect to see Grande make more slight changes to her ponytail, but these looks will all still require a hair tie.
