Ariana Grande Breaks Free from Her Signature Ponytail in a New Music Video
Some woman are rarely seen without lipstick, but for Ariana Grande it's a ponytail she stays true to. In her new music video for "Dangerous Woman," released earlier today, the pint-size singer surprised fans by ditching her signature style and letting her hair down.
In the sultry clip for the single off of her upcoming album of the same name, out on May 20, Grande's long, brown mane is relatively straight with loosely curled ends.
While there's been much speculation about why the singer's always seen with a high pony, it turns out she wears it to solve a problem women with colored hair experience all too often. Back in 2014, Grande shared on Facebook that the style (and little help from extensions) became her go-to because her real hair was so damaged from bleaching it bi-weekly for her role as Cat on Sam & Cat.
Whatever the reason for Grande deciding to finally break free from her familiar look, we hope to see her rock those gorgeous, voluminous strands more often.
