It's been nearly five months since Anna Faris and Chris Pratt's son Jack was given the honor of naming a newborn Humboldt penguin at Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo. And the name he bestowed upon the flightless bird? Eagle. Well, 3-year-old Jack and Eagle finally met for this first time on Tuesday and, naturally, adorableness ensued.

"Jack got to meet eagle the penguin! Thank you so much @woodlandparkzoo!" Faris, 39, tweeted alongside a photo of Jack smiling beside Eagle, who's being handled by a zookeeper.

Faris also posted another, funnier snap of the interaction, which shows little Jack making a disgusted face. "This was also a less-adorable expression upon introduction—turns out sometimes penguins smell" she captioned the pic.

Pratt, 36, revealed Jack's name choice on Facebook last October. "Anna and I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. I remember the awesome salmon and trout rivers, the bears, the elephants... Oh. I'm talking of course about the @woodlandparkzoo!! If you haven't had a chance to check it out you really must. It's such a well run and gorgeous facility," he wrote. "Who'd have thought that 15 some years later we'd meet in Hollywood, fall in love, get married, have a baby, and that baby boy would be given the opportunity to NAME A PENGUIN CHICK a the zoo!? I mean come on!"

The post also included a YouTube video (above) of the family's adorable announcement. "EAGLE THE PENGUIN," Jack yells at the camera before wishing the little bird a happy birthday in the clip. It doesn't get much cuter than that!
