After a hectic promotional tour for Salt, Angelina Jolie spent two days in Pakistan this week to raise awareness about the disastrous floods that recently invaded the country. Jolie is currently serving as a Goodwill Ambassador to the U.N. and spent her visit at Kandaro II Camp in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province listening to those who were affected by the floods. “I am very moved by them and I hope that I am able to do something to help bring attention to the situation for all of the people in need in Pakistan," Jolie told "This is not just a humanitarian crisis, it is an economic and social catastrophe.” Jolie exhibited a hopeful attitude when she spoke to CNN saying there is, “no choice but to be optimistic and to have hope.” According to Islamic Relief USA, more than 17 million people have been affected by this disaster.
