Ever since the Maleficent actress filed for divorce from Pitt, 54, in September 2016, the estranged couple has had serious disagreements over their six children — 17-year-old Maddox, 14-year-old Pax, 13-year-old Zahara, 12-year-old Shiloh, and 10-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Now, according to TMZ, the former couple will be taking their issues to trial. The outlet reports that Pitt and Jolie have requested that a Los Angeles Superior Court judge give them until next June to sort out their divorce with the help of a private judge. Fred Duval/Getty Images As of right now, the custody trial is set to begin on Dec. 4. It may be grounds for things to turn ugly, given how at odds the former couple is with each other over parenting. The 43-year-old actress is requesting sole custody of the children despite Pitt wanting joint custody. To make matters worse, neither signed a prenup, so a judge will also have to handle property settlement.
