In the final match of the US Open Tennis Championships last night, Britain's Andy Murray claimed victory over Serbia's Novak Djokovic to take home the coveted trophy. His title win ends the UK's 76-yearlong drought waiting for a male Grand Slam singles victor. Murray also made it to the final round at Wimbledon earlier this year, and took home a gold medal at the London Olympics this summer. His win comes just after Serena Williams claimed the same title for the ladies. Congrats to both of them!
