Neil Patrick Harris! Proclaiming, "I'm in. Nice..." the actor today crossed off the lone item that remained on his bucket list: "Host the Oscars."

The actor, currently starring in Gone Girl, will host the 87th annual Academy Awards show, happening Feb. 22 on ABC, Variety reports. Harris is no stranger to the hosting gig, having emceed the Tonys four times, most recently in 2014 (pictured, above).

While he is well known for his epic comedic timing, Harris has a tough act to follow: Last year's show, hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, attracted the biggest Oscar viewership in 14 years, according to Variety. Not only that, DeGeneres also set another record that year: posting the most retweeted selfie to date.

Those may be some tough shoes to fill, but if anyone can do it, NPH can. We can't wait to tune in Feb. 22, 2015!
