Henson are hands down two of this year’s biggest stars, with Schumer’s Trainwreck spreading laughter across theaters all summer long and Henson’s Cookie Lyon becoming one of the most widely duplicated Halloween costumes this past weekend. So it’s no surprise that for the return of VH1’s “Big In” franchise, the cable channel has tapped the two leading ladies to be honored at the VH1 Big in 2015 with Entertainment Weekly party, EW reports. The dramatic and hilarious actresses will not only appear in the special set to air Dec. 7, but will also be featured in the magazine’s Entertainers of the Year issue, on newsstands Nov. 24. “VH1 viewers and EW readers are in for a great time as they watch the entertainers who were big in 2015 celebrate, joke, and party with their friends,” EW editor Henry Goldblatt said in a statement. The special, which will be taped on Nov. 15, may not air on VH1 until Dec. 7, but we’re already hoping Schumer’s BFF Jennifer Lawrence and Henson’s Empire co-stars will be along for the ride.
