Amanda Seyfried is ready to tie the knot: The Mean Girls actress and her boyfriend, Thomas Sadoski, are engaged!
A rep for the actress confirmed the celebratory news to People. The couple first met while working on the off-Broadway play The Way We Get By, which opened in 2015, and then reunited as co-stars for the upcoming movie The Last Word. The pair reportedly began dating after they began filming for the new movie.
Speculation that wedding bells would soon ring for Seyfried had mounted earlier this month when she was photographed in New York City with a simple silver band on her ring finger. Getting engaged is a significant step and the theater vet previously told InStyle about a transformative moment in her history in making big decisions. "When I was asked to think of a moment in my life where I felt I needed extra courage, I immediately thought back to the decision I made to take the stage for the first time," Seyfried said. "It was a life-changing event for me that proved that fighting fear can open you."
Although the actress has not confirmed when the nuptials might take place, the wedding would follow her memorable portrayal of a bride in 2008's Mama Mia. This will be the 30-year-old actress's first walk down the aisle. Sadoski, 40, was previously married to Kimberly Hope, but split last year.
Congratulations to the bride-to-be!
