When she's not wearing her mandatory all-black legal robes, international human rights lawyer Amal Clooney can be found hitting the courtroom — or the Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony, as it so happened this week — in a rainbow of workwear staples. 

Yellow? Done. Purple? No problemo. Jackie Kennedy-pink? Nailed it. 

But there is a color she returns to time and time again: Red. Case in point, here she is today, stepping out in Oslo, Norway.

She stunned in a daring red Oscar de la Renta tweed peplum top and matching midi skirt which she paired with classic nude pumps. The red/khaki color combo has become something of a workwear formula for the mom to one-year-old twins Ella and Alexander.

Though it seems there's no hue on the color wheel that Amal won't touch, she has been known to go all-black every now and again. But no color doesn't mean boring — just last week, for example, George Clooney's better half was out and about in New York City looking office-ready in a black turtleneck and asymmetrical leather skirt ensemble by Givenchy.
