Good news, celeb fans, apparently there's a new star-studded friendship on the horizon, and this one's got everything: Glamour, brains, beauty, a direct line to the Queen of England—you know, the important things.
We're talking about the reported friendship between Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, and Amal Clooney, international human rights lawyer slash George Clooney's better half.
As new royal Markle adjusts to her post-wedding life alongside Prince Harry, she's had Clooney by her side to navigate and act as her confidant, according to People.
“Meghan and Amal have known each other for a while [and share] many interests,” a source said. The two first met through a mutual friends, but once Markle moved to the U.K., they grew even closer.
“Amal has been helping Meghan settle into London life,” the source explained. “It was a very natural friendship from day one.”
The proof is in the pudding; just a few weeks back, Amal and her husband George Clooney had front row seats as Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot in the biggest wedding ceremony of the year.
It's an invite not hastily given out, and the Clooneys were joined by über exclusive company, which only goes to show how well-connected they are to the bride and groom.
Now this is a friendship we can get behind.
