Amal Clooney Accents Her Neutral Spring Look with Pops of Color
Leave it to Amal Clooney to remind us that less really is more. The style stunner once again looked flawless in a near head-to-toe off-white ensemble as she took a stroll around Columbia University's campus in New York City.
Though Ms. Clooney has recently opted for bright pops of color and bold, can't-be-missed statement pieces, for today's occasion she donned a subdued combination of a knee-length pencil skirt, a minimalist top, and a cream coat. Her city-slicking outerwear is not just utilitarian, but perfectly tailored.
The winning secret? Colorful accessories. She completed the look by carrying a structured ladylike red Tod's bag (which nicely accented her red lip) and slipped on a pair of floral pointed-toe kitten heels with punches of green and orange. Understated elegance never looked so good.
