Amal and George Clooney Will Make Their First Awards Show Appearance Together at the Golden Globes

George Clooney may not be nominated for a Golden Globe this year, but he's still receiving an award! The Hollywood Foreign Press announced that the actor will be presented the Cecil B. Demile Award for his "outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment" by his former ER co-star Julianna Margulies this Sunday.

While we're excited to see him honored for his many years of outstanding work in Hollywood, we have to say we're even more excited to see him walk the red carpet with his new wife, Amal. This will be the first time the duo has attended an awards show together, and we're already predicting that they'll be the best-dressed couple of the evening.

Another bonus to having the gorgeous couple in the audience? Seeing how they'll get back at Tina Fey for her hilarious, yet pointed remark, about George Clooney's dating life from last year's Golden Globes:

“Gravity is nominated for best film. It’s the story of how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die than spend one more minute with a woman his own age.”

As he's now a married man, we're expecting some good natured retaliation from Hollywood's resident prankster. Needless to say, we're pretty excited.
