Allison Williams Knows Exactly How She'd Win Over The Bachelor's Heart as a Contestant
There’s an air of cool that trails behind Girls star Allison Williams the moment she enters a room, one that couldn’t be more different from her character Marnie Michaels’s boy-obsessed, always-on-edge demeanor. That’s precisely what we encountered Wednesday night in New York City, where Williams, creative director of Keds Collective, was on hand to celebrate the iconic sneaker brand’s 100-year heritage.
“I love shoes!” she told InStyle, explaining that the brand’s “Ladies First” mantra is one she approves of. “I love anything that drives towards girls being able to determine their own identity.”
But does the 27-year-old newlywed love what adorns her feet as much as she does The Bachelor? That’s debatable. In fact, Williams, who reportedly met her beau Ricky Van Veen at a viewing party for the show, knows exactly what her game plan would be if she were one of more than a dozen wide-eyed contestants. “I would talk as little sh*t as possible,” she revealed. “I would stay hydrated. I would not drink alcohol. And I would say only the nicest things about all the girls in the house.”
Yes, the actress truly is a girl’s girl, but that’s not all: “And whenever I was with The Bachelor, I would only talk about our relationship. Big no-no—you never talk about the other girls. It never works. You always get sent home if you do that.” Now that’s how you score that coveted rose.
