Allison Janney Was a Literal Bright Spot on the Golden Globes Red Carpet
Allison Janney may play one of the two titular mothers on the sitcom Mom, but she looked anything but matronly on the red carpet at the 2019 Golden Globes.
See for yourself, the actress doing her thing in an off-the-shoulder aqua Christian Siriano gown that she paired with a jaw-dropping David Webb necklace and the longest lashes we've ever seen.
The six-time nominee scooped up her first Golden Globe in 2018 for her role in I, Tonya, in which she played the figure-skater's chain-smoking, bowl cut-wearing mother, and, honestly, we'd probably watch an entire sequel wherein Janney's character simply chats with her fussy bird for two hours. She was that good.
To collect the award, Janney stepped onto the stage in a graphic Mario Dice dress that was fitting for the blackout in honor of the Time's Up movement.

She's come a long way since she was first nominated way back in 2001 for her role on The West Wing. She presented alongside Sam Rockwell last night, but if we have anything to say about it, she'll be back in 2020, too.
