All the Colors of the Rainbow: These Celebrities Are Hopping on Board the Day-Glo Hair Trend

There's a rainbow streak running through Hollywood, with Katy Perry and Kristen Stewart being the newest celebrities to join the spectrum! On the heels of Nicole Richie's purple makeover and Demi Lovato's hot-pink hair, Perry has returned to the wild hue trend with the "slime green" shade she revealed on Instagram, while Stewart debuted a vivid orange for her role in an upcoming film. This is the Twilight star's first foray into the creative color realm, but Perry, on the other hand, has worked almost every tone of the Manic Panic dye catalog like a pro. After spending 2013 as a solid brunette, we're glad to see that her penchant for high-impact hues lives on.

On the more natural end of the trend, Maggie Gyllenhaal took her deep brunette pixie to a pale blonde shade. While not technically part of the "rainbow" effect, we think it's flattering nonetheless. The last time Gyllenhaal went blonde was for the 2006 film Sherrybaby, and eight years later, the color makes just as much of an impact against her super-short cut.
