27-year-old Oscar winner Alicia Vikander has quickly proven to be Nicolas Ghesquière’s ultimate muse, starring in the artistic director’s sporty and futuristic Louis Vuitton campaigns and sitting front row at the brand’s runway shows. And while most of what she wears is brand-spanking new, the actress seems to have taken inspiration from the past for her latest off-duty ensemble.

On Sunday in West Hollywood, Calif., Vikander stepped away from her one-of-a-kind red carpet gowns and instead rocked a super simple yet ultra stylish look that consisted of perfectly tailored blue jeans, ankle-strap sandals, a totally sheer lace top, and a too-cool Louis Vuitton Petite Malle mini trunk handbag in all black.

So where do we think Vikander turned to for ideas? If you look closely, the styling resembles several of the lauded runway looks former Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Marc Jacobs sent down the spring 2014 runway for his final collection for the Parisian brand.

This look definitely deserves a standing ovation.
