Alexander Wang Is Taking Over Bergdorf Goodman's New York City Store
Lookout New York City: Alexander Wang is coming for you! The cooler-than-cool designer is setting up shop at one of the Big Apple's most iconic department stores, Bergdorf Goodman, and we couldn't be more excited for the special experiences he has created.
Starting today, Wang is taking over in a major way: He has decorated two of the store's Fifth Avenue windows (themed around the bedroom of a sneakerhead), staged an installation in the store’s hallowed ground-floor Luxe Room, and designed an elaborate sneaker-themed pop-up shop that is inspired by Wang's spring 2015 runway show on Bergdorf's contemporary floor, 5F. And beginning tonight, a projection of Wang’s barcode logo will be cast over Bergdorf’s Fifth Avenue storefront after dark (pictured above).
In addition to pieces from Wang's spring collection, the pop-up will stock several exclusive items including Alexander Wang barcode logo shoeboxes and posters, all-black basketballs, trophies, and all-white tennis racquets.
Stop by Bergdorf Goodman beginning today to check out the Alexander Wang takeover, which runs until March.
