The cast of Big Little Lies just got even more star-studded. HBO confirmed that former True Blood hunk Alexander Skarsgard will star alongside Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, and Shailene Woodley in the highly-anticipated seven-episode limited series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Based on Liane Moriarty's bestseller, the plot will focus on three mothers Madeline (Witherspoon), Celeste (Kidman), and Jane (Woodley), who all have children in the same kindergarten class. On the outside, these women seem to have it together, but beneath the surface they're all concealing secrets that eventually unravel and end up resulting in a murder.

Skarsgard will play Kidman's on-screen husband, Perry, who is a very handsome, successful businessman and a devoted husband. Additionally, Revenge's James Tupper will portray Witherspoon's ex-husband, and Zoe Kravitz will play his new wife, Bonnie. Laura Dern will also star.

No word as to when the project will begin filming, but we're already counting down to its release.
