The post was intended to thank fans for wishing her a happy 32nd birthday, but she also used it as an opportunity to shout out the essential workers fighting against the coronavirus. "Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you're all staying safe and sane during this crazy time," she wrote. Then she added, "I'd like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels." Of course, the message was nice, but the image was thanks enough for her fans who have rarely seen the singer over the last year. In the photo, she is standing in front of her house wearing a pair of black pumps, and a super chic little black dress with puff sleeves (Shop similar: $215; nordstrom.com). Her hair was straight and longer than its been in a while. Fans Are Convinced Adele's About to Drop New Music — Here's Why On her birthday last year, Adele shared a message saying she was going to take the year to be with herself. "31 is going to be a big ol' year and I'm going to spend it all on myself. For the first time in a decade I'm ready to feel the world around me and look up for once," she wrote. "Be kind to yourself people we're only human, go slow, put your phone down and laugh out loud at every opportunity. Learning to REALLY truly love yourself is it, and I've only just realized that that is more than enough. I'll learn to love you lot eventually." Now that her year of slowness is over maybe we'll get a sneak peek at the alleged 2020 album? Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
