This & Other Stories Fall Collaboration Is a Minimalist's Dream
The fashion world may be currently fixated on spring 2016 designs, but it's hard to forget about fall completely when the chilly NYC breeze won't let up. It's this drop in temperatures plus our search for the perfect fall coat that explains why we've fallen hard for the latest & Other Stories capsule collection—a collaboration done in partnership with stylist-slash-cool girl Ada Kokosar.
"Our concept was not trend-based at all, but rather following the idea of a lifestyle, of a mood," Kokosar explains to InStyle. "These are essentials that you can mix and match. They reflect my effortless style, which includes layering and a monochrome palette."
Each tonal look is meant to denote an aesthetic: The navy, effortless and deconstructed; the camel, graphic and structured; the black, sensual and feminine; and the patchwork, intimate and casual. Worn alone, these versatile pieces, with their sharp tailoring and cool hues, are statement-making. But layered together, they exude sleek sophistication.
As someone who is so in tune with her personal ethos, Kokosar shares her number one advice when it comes to style: "Follow your instinct; don't force it. The goal is effortlessness—if you think too much, something is wrong."
